NGO Añañau Website
NGO website redesign focused on volunteer engagement

OVERVIEW
Añañau's existing website had quietly become a liability — held together by outdated plugins and no longer supported, it was only a matter of time before something broke for good. During my internship, a fellow student and I took on the full rebuild from scratch. The goal wasn't just to replace what was there, but to rethink what the site needed to do: attract volunteers and interns who might never have heard of the organisation, and give the team behind it the ability to manage their own content without outside help.
The redesign leaned heavily into making the organisation's mission feel immediate and human. Añañau works with people, and the website needed to reflect that warmth — not just function as an information page. By modernising the look and improving the content management setup, the site now works as an active recruiting tool rather than a static presence. It was a collaborative project built under real conditions, with a real client, and a real deadline — and it showed us both what it means to deliver something that genuinely matters to the people using it.
